National Beta Club

The Heritage Homeschoolers chapter of the National Beta Club is an educational and leadership program for high school students (grades 9–12) who are committed to academic excellence, character, leadership, and service. As part of the nationally recognized Beta Club organization, our chapter provides homeschool teens with meaningful opportunities to grow as scholars and servant leaders within a supportive, community-centered environment.

What We Do:
Beta Club members meet twice a month to engage in community service and leadership activities. Meetings are a mix of in-person and Zoom gatherings, with a strong preference for meeting face-to-face whenever possible. Each session includes dynamic leadership development through group discussions of books and articles, inspirational speakers, team projects, and collaborative planning.

Service & Impact:
Teens serve at least once a month—both within the Heritage community and across metro Atlanta. From supporting homeschool events to engaging in broader civic efforts, members are encouraged to serve not only through club-led initiatives but also in their own communities and personal circles. Service opportunities are both structured and flexible, allowing students to make a tangible impact in ways that are meaningful to them.

Leadership Opportunities:
Students can step into formal leadership roles within the chapter and help plan events, lead service projects, and guide discussions. Whether they’re new to leadership or looking to grow existing skills, Beta Club provides a safe space to practice and lead with confidence.

What to Expect:
Meetings include refreshments and fun! While our chapter values the exciting experiences offered through state and national Beta conventions, we are currently focusing on local engagement to ensure a balanced and sustainable time commitment for families.

Membership & Pricing:

Participation in the Heritage Homeschoolers Beta Club is free for current Heritage members. For non-member teens, there is a $50 annual fee per school year. This fee helps cover each student's required national Beta Club dues as well as local chapter expenses such as supplies, materials, and refreshments for meetings. Non-members will receive a payment link after submitting the teen interest form below. We aim to keep costs low while providing a rich, engaging experience for all participants.

Beta Club is a fantastic way for high school homeschoolers to build character, gain leadership experience, and serve their communities—while connecting with like-minded peers who care about making a difference.
